This is a
recording of the SOUTHPAWS
PUBLIC HEARING on Monday
evening December
14/2009 at 7:00pm.
This Public Hearing took place at the North Grenville Municipal
Building in the Auditorium.
The Hearing was to determine if SOUTHPAWS
would
be granted a licence to operate a legal Kennel.
Therefore the property of Southpaws had to be designated Special
Rural / Kennel / Special Exception.
Without the proper Re-zoning, Southpaws would be shut down. Other
similar dog boarding facilities will have to go
through the same process in order to determine their fate.
Listen
below to see how things turned out.
The sound quality is rated by me and not Barrack Obama. Therefore
the quality is rated FAIR (at best)
(C Minus) C- and not B+ as in Obama's case.
A small recorder made it's way into the hall by way of my coat
pocket and accidentally turned itself on at the start
of the hearing. The noise factor has been edited to the best of
my ability through a software program.
Because of the distance from the speakers and with no direct
microphone attached, the audio can still be listened to
without too much difficulty.
You will hear Mayor Gooch of Kemptville initiate proceedings
followed by speeches from 3 of Southpaws clients, and Phil
Gerrard
of the North Grenville Planning Department.
