Secondly, we are a specialty pet-care service which provides pet care in the customer’s home so pets can remain in comfortable, stress free and familiar surroundings. Southpaws Pet Sitting offers in-home service for all types of small animals - dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, etc.
Our services provide convenience for the customer by avoiding the hassle of transporting pets to and from a kennel.  Often, clients may first consider a neighbour or relative to care for their pet which can be a burden or inconvenience to these people. Without warning, they may suddenly have to cancel plans to care for your pet(s). We are professionals and we have a contract with you to perform services exactly as planned so that your away from home time is worry free.

When you schedule a “get acquainted” visit with us, you will be introduced to your pet sitter.  Should you schedule future visits with us, we will send the same pet sitter so you will always know who is entering your home and your pet will not have to adjust to a new sitter each time you leave town.  We offer daily visits and as well provide transportation to and from the customer’s groomer’s and veterinarian’s offices.  

Our sitters are experienced animal handlers with first aid training for cats and dogs.  Everyone associated with our service is both bonded and insured. As well as providing loving attention to pets, we offer additional services such as administering medication (Insulin shots), preparing special meals, and providing crime deterrent services.
